Military Youth - The Congressional Award

The Congressional Award encourages military youth to start their journey and earn Congress’ highest award for youth.

Since military youth often move many times before graduating, the great part about the Congressional Award’s program is that you can bring it with you wherever you go.

The program is ideal for military youth because it allows participants to move at their own pace, whether they move locations or change schools. The Congressional Award provides participants, no matter where they live, with a structured, yet flexible, platform to achieve personal goals.

As part of our new Home Base Program, we are assembling a special group, or “youth cohort,” made up of participants who are registered for the Congressional Award program. The purpose of this group is to gather valuable insights and feedback directly from you – the youth who will benefit from this tailored programming. Your input will be instrumental in shaping the content, structure, and resources of our initiative, including toolkits and other materials.
