Sylvie Légère
Sylvie Légère is a social entrepreneur, impact investor, philanthropist, author of Trust Your Voice: A Roadmap to Focus and Influence, and co-producer of the film She Rises Up.
With a career spanning multiple sectors, including technology, process, and change management, Sylvie has focused on developing innovative solutions that unite people for the common good and advancing the next generation of change-makers. Her passion for women’s empowerment inspired her to co-found The Policy Circle, a nonprofit organization that has grown into a nationwide community. The Policy Circle’s mission is to inform, equip, and connect women to be more impactful citizens.
With a firm commitment to economic and leadership development, Sylvie serves on several local and international boards. Most recently, she has served on the investment councils of the First Women’s Bank, Poligage, the first online marketplace that provides information about public policy insights, and RiseKit, a platform to connect employers to the most vulnerable communities. She is a co-producer of the film She Rises Up, which features how entrepreneurship lifts women out of poverty worldwide. Sylvie also serves many not-for-profit organizations, such as Cubs Charities, the National Center on Sexual Exploitation, Soldier Strong, and Empower Illinois. She has held roles at Fortune 500 companies such as Accenture, JP Morgan Chase, and Schwab (formerly TD Ameritrade).
Sylvie is often invited to speak or moderate engage panels at conferences; she has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, Smart Women Smart Money magazine, Sheridan Road and Make It Better magazine.
Through her book, Trust Your Voice: A Roadmap to Focus and Influence, and her Trust Your Voice podcast, both inspired by her lived experiences moving into uncharted territories and developing female civic leaders nationwide, Sylvie is empowering people to ignite the potential in themselves and others.
