Annual Charity Poker Tournament

The Congressional Award Charity Poker Tournament is an annual event to benefit Congress’ Only Award for Youth.  The tournament brings together Poker enthusiasts across the spectrum including Members of Congress, Chiefs of Staff, poker pros and friends of the Award for an evening of bluffs and blinds, all in the name of charity.   The event includes a silent auction and prizes for the top four players.  The 2009 Grand Prize was a seat at the World Series of Poker with prizes also going to second, third and fourth place.  The event also features a Silent Auction and reception for those who may not be inclined to show off their poker skills but still want to take part in the charitable event.

Information about corporate and individual sponsorship opportunities is available by contacting Heyse@CongressionalAward.org.   As The Congressional Award is a 501 (c)(3) that does not receive any federal funding, all proceeds raised at the charity poker tournament ensure that thousands more youth may benefit from the successful event.
