The Congressional Award Gold Medal Ceremony is held in Washington, D.C. each year.  We are pleased to offer a week-long program along with the Ceremony.

2008 Gold Medal Week-Long Medalists

The Congressional Award Gold Medal Week-Long Program is an event celebrating the achievement of this year’s Congressional Award Gold Medalists. The program will bring young leaders from across the United States to honor their commitment to community service and personal improvement. The highlights of the week will be the Gold Medal Award Ceremony on Capitol Hill and the Gold Medal Open House. Participants will meet with their Members of Congress and be able to learn more about the Federal Government.

Participants will be able to fully take in the Nation’s Capital with tours of the various Smithsonian Museums, the War and Presidential Memorials, the National Zoo and other exciting opportunities.
